Welcome to Teach IT 2007!

The International Schools of Singapore present TeachIT 2007, our second biennial conference held for IT and Classroom teachers from K-12. The main focus is integrating IT into teaching.

Audacity - LAME Encoder Settings

LAME Encoder Plug-in on Audacity. The following are the steps to enable it:

1. Launch Audacity, click Edit > Preferences and go to the File Formats tab. If this is not visible, click on the left-pointing arrow top right of the window.
2. In the bottom of the window there is a section called 'MP3 Export Setup'.
3. Click on the "Find Library" button
4. In Audacity 1.2.6 this will ask you if you want to locate the LAME encoder. Click "Yes". In Audacity 1.3.3, click the "Browse" button
5. In the dialogue box, go to C:\program files\audacity\plug-ins folder and select lame_enc.dll.
6. Click Open, then OK.

We have created this wiki to make it easy for you to post materials online to support your presentation.

Why to Use This Wiki

You may want to use this wiki for any or all of the following uses:

Upload your handouts so participants can download their own copies or share the handouts with colleagues.

Upload support materials for participants to use in class, such as photos for their movie, Voicethread, wiki, etc.

Post your agenda and notes so that your participants can review them later.

Use the wiki in place of Powerpoint or other presentation tools.
Post links to resources you want the participants to use.

How to Use This Wiki

Sign in to this wiki. There is a sign in link in the top right corner of this page. If you are not already a member of WetPaint, click the register button to join. It is free and WetPaint doesn't sell your personal information.
Click on the link below to take you to the session during which you are presenting.
Click the EasyEdit button and add your presentation to the list in alphabetical order. Save the page.
Click the Add a New Page link in the right sidebar. Make your page name the same as your presentation's name so your participants can easily find it.
To edit your page, click the EasyEdit button near the top of the page. You may create as many pages as you need that link to your main page.
To upload a file, such as a Microsoft Word document, click the Add Attachment link in the right sidebar. [Note: Each attachment must be no larger than 1MB]
When you are done, save your page. Then go back to the session page and create a link from that page to your page using the link button.
